31st December 2006 Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: 2 hours 1-3pm nicely powered to absolutely-mega-stacked by the end on the 5.2. At times quite a frustrating session and the first booted one of the year GRRR. Onshore conditions meant it was often down to luck whether or not access through the mush would be granted, and a fair few rinsings were endured as well as one long swim. However the bonkers windy bit at the end was great fun and just about pushes the session rating up to a marginal 4 stars. A good end to a great windsurfing year. :) |
